About Me

I am a SUNY New Paltz graduate with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in Communications Media with a concentration in Public Relations. I received my Associate from Rockland Community College and went to North Rockland High School. I'm from Haverstraw, NY, and am a Local Media Assistant at Active International. The goal is to become an NBA/Sports analyst or journalist for a sports network but also to inspire others to be the best they can be.

I love to exercise and have always valued physical and mental health and love taking photos to capture memories. I have a sports podcast called DJ's Sports Show where I talk about different sports topics on the latest sports news and it's available on Spotify, Anchor, Apple Pod, Google Pod, etc. Here you guys will get access to all my podcasts and sports blogs of various sports. I hope you enjoy my content and the journey I'm on as I leave my imprint on the world and my community :).

So many emotions typing this, but on March 17, 2023, I was honored by being invited/accepted to attend the Black Sports Symposium as one of the best aspiring black sports media talents sponsored by ESPN in Atlanta, Georgia from April 13-15  where Klutch agent Rich Paul (LeBrons agent), NBC Sports reporter Maria Taylor, and many other prominent black media members will be in attendance.

It's been a long journey for me, one full of many ups and downs, highs and lows as I have been through a lot in life personally and through my content. There have been days I've wanted to give up and felt I was wasting my time but kept pushing, knowing one day all my hard work will pay off, and receiving an invitation to attend such an event shows me all my hard work is paying off and that you can achieve anything you put your mind to!

All the days of long recordings from the podcast losing my voice, constant wrist/neck pain from doing articles for my website or Hoopshabit, having been a sports announcer/radio host at SUNY New Paltz, a Co-Creator of the Sports Media Blog, and now a Local Media Assistant at Active Media International all before the age of 23.

It all started with a podcast before anything else in June of 2020, and the rest has been history since. I never in my wildest dreams would've thought I'd reached the places I have from my website and podcast not just domestically here in the U.S. but also in countries such as Canada, Africa, India, Taiwan, Japan, China, Australia, France, Mexico, Egypt, and so many more.

This event will be the biggest/best days of my life and I'm blessed and honored to have been selected and only makes me want to work harder. Remember to never give up and you can do anything you put your mind to!
